-Hi everyone, i'm finally home!
after 15 yrs of collecting dead shows, i've finally gotten a high speed connection for the 1st time recently, and found nirvana here at the archive!
needless to say i feel like the perverbial
"kid in a candy store", and i've been sucking down as much 'sugar' as i can handle over the last week or so.
And i def. like crispy shows (SBDs usually).

*'73 is one of those uniquely magical years full of monster shows, but so far i've been dissapointed in regards to the sound quality of my top picks from this year , esp. in comparision to other years--& more specifically, compared to 72, and 74.

SO, my question is, for those of you that have been around the archive for a while:
Any reccommendations as to the best "sounding" shows available from 73??

just hoped someone could save me a little time & trouble sifting through 100 streams!!

Thanx a bundle,
-slim.

^^^ good ones listed above...throw in 06-10-1973, 06-22-1973, 10-19-1973, 10-25-1973 (I believe only 2nd set exists, but it's a doozy), 11-10-1973, 11-11-1973, 11-17-1973 and 11-20-1973

02-27 and 02-28 is a Dick's Picks and well worth purchasing...

Agreed that 11/11/73 is a great one. One of my favorites from that year.

roscoemaples, dank co.,kezar, rfk, etc., --gonna have to wait, --heard them so many gahzillion times that, i can probably play them on kazoo for you from memory. ;)

thanx again!! happy listening.

11.23 El Paso, 12.18 Tampa, 3.28 set 2 Springfield!, 11.9 Winterland (setlist is average, playing is priceless), 12.1 Boston (1/2 Step>Playin>UJB>Playin sequence is magic), did anyone mention 5.20 from UCSB (turn up the bass and it's dandy).

PS- Welcome Home! and download fast, stuff occasionally gets disappeared.

3/24/73 and 12/6/73 are both knock-outs with strong Dark Stars. Don't miss them either.
